HOME TASTES LIKE Chocolate chip cookies.
DREAM DINNER PARTY Uncle Shawn (he’s passed away). Mom and Dad, my brother Ian, Grandma Bettye and Papa Joe. Grandma Lynn and Papa Kirk. Our old neighbors the Cobles.
IF I COULD DO ANYTHING, I’D Knit a sweater.
The red white and blue flag
hangs outside the window
above the wild green shrub
dancing gracefully in the wind.
The thriving garden grows
next to the old wooden swing set
and the clucking chickens.
Cluck! Cluck! Squawk!
