4Culture rebooted this beloved King County public art program in 2014, expanding it from singular, English bus placards to serial, multi-lingual workshops and installations across King County, along with an online poetry portal. Roberto Ascalon, our 2014-15 Poet Planner, and a team of community leaders facilitated workshops and invited King County to explore “home” through poetry traditions and innovations in English, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The Writing Home collection—one poem every day from November 10, 2014 to November 11, 2015— remains on view for you here, in our poetry archive.
