Writing My Way Home

When I arrived in Seattle, displaced,
I began to find home through
Views of lakes and trees from bus windows,
In local tea shops,
Sitting for hours,
Writing my way home.

My inner worlds mapped
To newly familiar streets,
That stop where I always waited,
Populated by now familiar faces.
