POEM OF THE DAY
January 25
Leaving home, I felt the loss
of place, identity, security.
Rootless, I wandered the world
building walls, attempting to recreate.
Slowly I came to know
Home was no fixed place–
Simply the sound of someone softly speaking my name.
Leaving home, I felt the loss
of place, identity, security.
Rootless, I wandered the world
building walls, attempting to recreate.
Slowly I came to know
Home was no fixed place–
Simply the sound of someone softly speaking my name.
