Postmarked from the Moon

I write to you
From the moons brink tonight

He smiles down
While I’m so far, so forlorn

I’ve been away
Fly fishing for stars
Watching the changing skies

Below, the world cloaked in silence

Lassoing a shooting star
Tying my love to it

Released, it descends
Homeward to you

Postmarked from the Moon

I write to you
From the moons brink tonight

He smiles down
While I’m so far, so forlorn

I’ve been away
Fly fishing for stars
Watching the changing skies

Below, the world cloaked in silence

Lassoing a shooting star
Tying my love to it

Released, it descends
Homeward to you
