Missing Home

Leaving it behind, I ventured out
So many new exciting things,
Such beautiful sceneries.
But the empty void remained
A void created when I left
Filled with longing,
The sense of belonging
My heart rejoiced at the sight of it.
Home, my heart, I have returned.
