Dear Mother An Angel Above Me Finally

Not lost—
didn’t notice I wasn’t
lost, knew where,
as I looked around,
I was.
I didn’t think
of anything except
where I was going
and went,
later remembered
I wasn’t lost.
Overthinking
I worried
I wouldn’t find
my way back
to you. I know now
I was ok today.

Dear Mother An Angel Above Me Finally

Not lost—
didn’t notice I wasn’t
lost, knew where,
as I looked around,
I was.
I didn’t think
of anything except
where I was going
and went,
later remembered
I wasn’t lost.
Overthinking
I worried
I wouldn’t find
my way back
to you. I know now
I was ok today.
