POEM OF THE DAY
August 26
She started out so light
a mist, I barely noticed her.
Over time, she gathered strength
against the mountain that was me.
Water over stone, she wore me down.
How surprised I was to find,
mist to rain to river,
she carried us both to sea.
She started out so light
a mist, I barely noticed her.
Over time, she gathered strength
against the mountain that was me.
Water over stone, she wore me down.
How surprised I was to find,
mist to rain to river,
she carried us both to sea.
