POEM OF THE DAY
November 13
Where is everyone?
The viscous worm?
The horse lying like a dog
In the grass?
Is anybody here?
The jaguar hangs
on her arabesque branch
the manatee chugging southward
in solitude
Yes!
says the crepey elephant with
his worn whale’s eye
We’re home!
Where is everyone?
The viscous worm?
The horse lying like a dog
In the grass?
Is anybody here?
The jaguar hangs
on her arabesque branch
the manatee chugging southward
in solitude
Yes!
says the crepey elephant with
his worn whale’s eye
We’re home!
