Migration Patterns

Floating somewhere is
A flock of geese making their deliberate way
Beyond the horizon.
All winter, they dreamed of today.

Perhaps you have not always known
How to dream past this ocean.
Over mountaintops.

But it’s not your world yet.
Go on, be brave. Reach,
Fly.
Home will always remain.
