POEM OF THE DAY
December 16
Often they ask “Do you plan to go home?”
My mind rebels at the thought that this isn’t one.
To live in this nation, for so many, a privilege to be won.
Long and hard the arduous road;
A right to love and build here a humble abode.
Often they ask “Do you plan to go home?”
My mind rebels at the thought that this isn’t one.
To live in this nation, for so many, a privilege to be won.
Long and hard the arduous road;
A right to love and build here a humble abode.
