POEM OF THE DAY
January 27
Hill
Walking
In fits and starts,
Breakfasting at home,
Ascending to craggy top
For lunch; drop down to town
For tea and a bus to journey home.
High above a long, deep cut the world
Seems broad, shows us places
Unexplored. But back I go
To valley floor and
Home.
