POEM OF THE DAY
April 3
My brother texts twenty
pics of his mansion. I spread
placemats on U-Haul cardboard,
dine pondering MISC
and the location of my toothbrush.
Reverently, I shelve twenty
BKS that will sail me ’round
the Horn to the far side
of the world
then home
where BDRM and clean
sheets await.
