POEM OF THE DAY
March 28
I climb the color-board sky
bounce upon a pillow cloud trampoline
grab hold of a star’s outstretched arms
and laugh and twirl on strand or beam
lifting beyond the darkness of eternity
Until I wake in a poet’s dream

Until I wake in a poet’s dream
