A Cherokee’s Garden

Labyrinth of stone, earth and flower
blessed by each season’s offerings—
a journey through grace.

Octaves of birdsong
echo through trees like kind rain.

Home to Fox, Owl and Doe
winter Lion bows to summer Toad.

This circle of stones—a prayer
the loam of generations
gentle spirit.
