Waiting

Home waits
in the shadows of my dreams
the neglected corners of my heart.
Watchful and patient
home waits
to be remembered.

Home found me
before I found myself.
It unfurled me
like a slumbering flower
wakes at night
reaching
to embrace the stars.

I have left
but
home waits.

Waiting

Home waits
in the shadows of my dreams
the neglected corners of my heart.
Watchful and patient
home waits
to be remembered.

Home found me
before I found myself.
It unfurled me
like a slumbering flower
wakes at night
reaching
to embrace the stars.

I have left
but
home waits.
