Dear Home

Welcome back.
I’ve been looking for you.
Somewhere along the way you got lost.
I remember you from childhood––
the pond, collecting night crawlers,
playing king of the mountain on the big rock in our front yard.
It took longer than I had hoped to find you––
to find me.
