smooth rocks pressing gently into the ball of your foot
            crystal water lapping against your brightly painted toes
                hidden sea glass peeking out between the stones
                              Mediterranean sun caressing
       hum of languages mixing and tumbling like the water surrounding
                                     slowly submerging
                          remembering that salt water heals
