The Sound Soothes

It’s Golden Gardens
I go to
For respite
From the intense urbanity
Of Seattle
Sitting comfortably against
A huge, tumbled-a-shore tree
I contemplate the scene
Water, mountains, boats
A few people dotted along the coast
Waves lap
Lulling my thoughts
The Sound soothes
And heals
My soul
