Other Seas

We come from somewhere else:
from the North Sea, the Tyrrhenian,
Black, Yellow, Red Seas,
from Lake Baikal and Lake Tanganyika,
from rivers that run north to south
and those running south to north.
We come from somewhere else,
from other waters we traveled.
We come to the Salish Sea.
