Meditating on Self-Compassion

I close my eyes,

Let my body become the ocean floor.

My belly

Rises and falls like the current,

Waves

Of sorrow and delight dance upon my chest.

I surrender,

Stretching my limbs until I am even larger

Than the ocean,

Cradling her like a child in my arms.

Meditating on Self-Compassion

I close my eyes,

Let my body become the ocean floor.

My belly

Rises and falls like the current,

Waves

Of sorrow and delight dance upon my chest.

I surrender,

Stretching my limbs until I am even larger

Than the ocean,

Cradling her like a child in my arms.
